Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I appreciate the encouragement and helpful advice I have received from my therapist. She has been so caring and understanding and helpful whenever I’m faced with hard times. She has offered hope and encouragement when the situations have been very bleak and difficult.

Reviewed December 2023

Rachel is such a lovely therapist. She truly listens and helps me understand the underlying emotions to my situations. She suggests very helpful coping mechanisms to not only use in time of need, but to also practice when everything is fine - so you know what to do in time of need. She validates my emotions which is very comforting and helpful to my self esteem. It's difficult for me to open up to people, and although it took time for me to feel safe enough to open up to her about everything, I am now very comfortable with sharing everything. She has a very gentle and comforting aura about her. I highly recommend.

I’ve seen 4 therapists in the last 10 years and Rachael is by far the only therapist that has actually helped me. I feel like I’m growing and I am able to work through a lot of anxiety that I’ve had in the past with her help.

Rachael is a wonderful therapist. She is calm and understanding. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to help me process things and identify what I need to work on and she gave me the tools to work with.
