Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Sarah is a gem. She’s engaged, considerate and caring. She remembers thoughtful details between sessions that make you feel heard, understood and respected. She has an authentic style, which makes her contributions feel trustworthy. She provides reassurance and recognition, but balances that with constructive, insightful challenges. She’s a pleasure to get to speak to - couldn’t recommend her enough.

Sarah has helped me acclimate and adjust to life since March 2023. I technically ran away from our sessions after a month after life kind of overwhelmed me but I did take on board a lot of the things she said and that’s helped me navigate a new relationship. I decided to resume sessions as of November as I realised I can’t really navigate life on my own right now so it would be nice to speak to her and today we resumed after like 7 months and it feels like we just stepped back into it. She’s amazing and understanding and empathetic and helpful and I’m so grateful she was able to take me back on board! Looking forward to the next few months with her sessions.

Sarah is a breathe of fresh air! She has helped me so much already and I’ve only had 2 sessions with her. She listens and asks all the right questions. I would 100% recommend her.

I've never tried therapy before, and I had some experiences and thoughts that kept me from seeking therapy. However, a huge crisis in my life pushed me to give it a try, because I feel I am caught in the biggest storm of my life. I really need someone's help to weather it. And Sarah has been exactly the kind of a professional I need. She is kind, supportive and accepting. Her advice and suggestions have been most helpful.
