More about Janice

While supporting my clients, I utilize the knowledge and tools from many modalities, but my own personal experience of overcoming challenges, childhood trauma, toxic relationships, low self-esteem, lack of healthy boundaries, anxiety and the bereavement.

The healing process is not really about learning new things. In fact, it is about unlearning the painful stories about ourselves, others and the world.

Once our hearts and minds are cleared from these subconscious limiting beliefs, we become to realize, that we did not come to this world to suffer, but to discover our true potential, to cherish and express our beautiful nature, and to reach a state where peace, joy and love become are our day-to-day reality. This is when we find ourselves back home again.

The decision to ask for help can be a difficult one, but it is the first step in coming back home to yourself. Healing process itself is in fact simple, but it not easy. Luckily, you do not have to do this alone.

Whatever has brought you here, I believe that together we will find what you are looking for.

Wherever you are, I will meet you there, hold a safe space of unconditional acceptance and support you every step of the way in your gentle healing journey to discover who you truly are.

With love,

Janice

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have been doing therapy with Janice for a year and a half . She helped me transition from my former therapist who was very abusive to the most emphatetic and understanding and non judgemental person that i have ever met. She always encourages me to do the things in my own way, she never try to convince me that my opinión is good or bad. She learned me how to accept myself and i was in a really need of that. I learned a lot from her, my life had changed for the best in this last year, i am looking forward for my next session when Janice will welcome me with her warm voice and help me to understand and appreciate myself. Thank you, Janice! ❤️

I've had 3 sessions with Janice at BetterHelp so far, and I'm feeling really hopeful about the progress we're starting to make together. She's been incredibly supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental as I begin to open up about my anxiety, relationship difficulties and ADHD. Janice has a great approach - she really listens to me and takes the time to understand the deeper issues behind my challenges, rather than just scratching the surface. I appreciate that she suggests different coping techniques to try, and is helping me find ways to better manage my emotions. While I'm still getting to know myself and Janice through our sessions, I'm grateful to have her guidance as I navigate these challenges. I look forward to continuing our work together and seeing how I can grow with her support. So far, Janice has demonstrated that she's a caring, insightful therapist who I'm optimistic can make a real difference for me.

I finally found a therapist who seems to actually understand me and I'm really happy about the progress I made in such a short time already, especially since my previous therapy wasn't that fruitful and working with ADHD is always a bit different. Janice speaks with so much empathy, listens to me very carefully, and is very respectful. I strongly recommend her.

Janice is an exceptionaly warm, kind and supportive person, and I immediately felt connected to her. We've been talking for a few months now, and I do feel like we made substantial progress when it comes to handling my relationship issues, and after a long while I've started feeling more accepting of myself and my shortcomings. She has a gentle way of turning a frown upside down, and she never fails to remind me of my strengths when I feel weak or down. I feel I'm benefiting from her guidance and can wholeheartedly recommend her as a therapist.

I really, really love my sessions with my therapist Janice, she's the kindest and has always been supportive without judgement or pushing me in any direction, which I absolutely appreciate as it made me feel held and not under pressure in any way.

Reviewed June 2023

I have been through this tough time after I broke up with my ex and I used to plan the future together. I was so lost that I didn't even know what my main concern was and how to deal with it. I often thought about extreme things that I didn't want to be with others and just isolate myself. Even with my long messages (many times), Janice was always listening to me and giving me kind words. Also, I am working full time so I did not manage to join the individual sessions (face-to-face), but Janice spent her own time phone calling me. She listened to my thoughts, feelings and aspects and she helped me to find what was the main thing that makes me sad and angry the most. Furthermore, she helped me with sudden anger and sadness that appear every day by teaching me emotional breathing techniques. It helped me a lot and still, helps me a lot whenever I have this big wave of emotions that suffocates me. I am such a lucky person to talk and get help from a kind-hearted person like Janice. Thank you so much Janice. :)

I couldn’t recommend working with her enough, and look forward to continuing our sessions.

She's the sweetest and most supportive Therapist. Always leaves me with a smile after the sessions and feeling better and a lot less stressed. She's really helped me just after the first 3 sessions and I definitely recommend her!

Reviewed May 2023

Janice is very empathetic. She acknowledges and allows you to feel whatever emotion you are feeling. I like that she doesn't drown out your thoughts and feelings with her words, but will actually stop speaking (even mid-sentence) to let you express a feeling, say something, cry or any other expression you need to make at the time. I would highly recommend her as a therapist.
