Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas with 12+ years of professional work experience. A large portion of my experience has been working with children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. With this experience I have worked directly with clients, as well as their families. I am also a Registered Play Therapist, and love to incorporate play into my sessions. Play is not just for kids anymore. Working on an online platform I can incorporate directive play therapy techniques to help clients of any age process anxiety, fears and other struggles you may be facing. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Mary is an amazing therapist! She's very caring and knows her stuff. I feel totally comfortable opening up to her, and she gives me some great advice that has helped me through many a tough time. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and wants to help them feel better. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive therapist who gets results. 10/10!
I've just started therapy after losing my mother. I appreciate Mary's ability to listen well and provide proper feedback
Absolutely amazing therapist that takes the time to not only learn about you but also how she can help you the best. I would recommend her (and have!) to anyone and everyone.

Good so far
From the very first session, I felt at ease with Mary. She listens attentively and asks insightful questions while creating a safe and supportive environment so you are comfortable enough to share what you need to. Overall, I cannot recommend Mary highly enough!!
She is amazing! Sends lots of resources to help with whatever is going on in life and is very patient and kind!
Am very impressed with her attentiveness to details of everything I say. She helps me stay focused on what my goal is and how I plan to achieve that goal. She is a dedicated professional… this isn’t just a part time gig. Would definitely recommend her for anyone seeking a therapist.
Really feel we connected right away. I feel safe to tell her anything and am making progress with her help.
It has been a tremendous help having someone from rhe outside looking in to help guide and give techniques to better myself and those around me. Within a small time frame I have felt better and feel more motivated to keep pushing forward. Thank you for being the guide I needed.
Mary has been great for the short time I've worked with her. She was able to figure out what I wanted to focus on even when I wasn't able to verbalize it. Mary is also very capable of being straightforward which has been super helpful!
