Recent reviews

Bridgett is very respectful. She listens and provides perspectives that I would have never thought of on my own and maintains the overall idea of solving the initial problems I have. She checks in on me and allows me to vent about what I think could be the smallest thing but understands why it still bothers me at the end of the day. I appreciate her very much.

More about Bridgett

  • 20 years' experience
  • Female
  • LPC

I am licensed in Oklahoma with 20 years of professional work experience including helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. I have worked in outpatient community mental health, inpatient care for teens, home based children's services, residential substance use treatment, vocational rehabilitation and most recently integrated care which involves both physical and mental health. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My style tends to be laid back and I lean towards using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as I see these approaches as empowering you. Our work together will include collaborating to identify your goals to meet your unique and specific needs, however that looks for you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I look forward to being here to support & empower you in that journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
