Peggy provides the safest and most supportive space I’ve ever had the pleasure of being in. She has always fully supported me and never judged or allowed me to feel bad. She has an understanding I have never came across before and so many amazing options to assist with all kinds of issues and trauma. I’m so grateful I found this opportunity and therapist as all my previous therapy opportunities have always failed miserably. The skills and lessons I’ve been able to build with Peggy will benefit and stay with me forever

Hello, my name is Peggy, I am warm, caring and nonjudgmental. I have an understanding of a wide range of client needs. I believe strongly in confidentiality and building therapeutic connection.

I can offer you a safe environment where you will be able to express yourself without being judged. Somewhere that you are accepted and celebrated for who you are.

A place where together we can explore any difficulties you may be experiencing and discover coping strategies that work you.

I have a specialist interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a deep understanding of the issues and problems that are affecting the LGBTQIA+ community. I want to help give a voice to those in the community, a chance to be heard and to know that you have a safe place of which you can do so.

As an integrative counsellor, I use a range of therapeutic techniques and approaches, such as person centered, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, systemic family therapy, and creative therapies, just to name a few.

My expertise consists of LGBTQIA+, emotional support, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, abuse, bereavement, bullying, low self-esteem, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-harm, suicide awareness, and self-care.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
