Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Sarah is very approachable and has a nice, kind and empathetic manner which puts you at ease. I feel I can talk to her about anything and she won't judge or react. She allows you the space to talk and reflect on your issues and has suggestions for reflecting further on things so you can work on them in more depth. I would definitely recommend Sarah to others looking for a genuine and empathetic Counsellor.

She is the best therapist I ever had. I feel validated and challenged af the same time, which is in a very good balance! I feel like I can be myself and I can cry, but we can also laugh together. I don't feel drained after sessions, they mostly end with a positive vibe so I can let go and think about it later. She's been a great help in identifying my attachment issues and childhood trauma's. Would recommend her to anyone who needs to work through insecurities like me :)

Sarah is a compassionate listener and had really good insights that I found very helpful. I went in to the process somewhat unsure of what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised at how useful my talks with her turned out to be. She helped me come to terms with some difficult truths and suggested some good approaches to improving things. I'm glad I was matched with her.

Sarah is absolutely incredible. I've been in and out of therapy for years and Sarah has been the best therapist I've come across. She understands you and is very compassionate. She comes up with great coping strategies to use and different ways of looking at things. If she doesn't know about something you're experiencing, she will go away and read up on it and come back with different ways to approach it and ways to cope and get through. She's clearly very experienced and shows this in her professional yet compassionate way and helps you to talk things out in a way that will help you see another way through. She helps you see the good in yourself and that no matter what happens, there's always a way through and that the bad is just temporary.

Reviewed April 2023
