Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Gurpreet has been a wonderful therapist to me in the last few months. I feel that she has been very supportive through various things life has thrown at me recently (and in turn me to her in my sessions) and she's always encouraged me to look inwards and reflect. She has helped me grow tremendously and I can see improvements within my own mindsets, daily life etc. She understands how I like to work or approach therapy - with tasks and a plan in place so I can look back and track progress and I have made, and I've learnt a lot along the way. I'd highly recommend Gurpreet, she understands me culturally, she listens intently and makes me feel very comfortable to share without holding back, she asks me thought provoking questions during my sessions when we're going deep, especially around my thoughts/beliefs, which was really important to me when finding the right therapist. I'm very thankful that I've come on a long journey with her, and aim to continue my sessions with her as I've grown very comfortable and safe in our sessions.
