Megan Boesen is a FANTASTIC therapist. I'm a late-diagnosed autistic person in my 30s, and I've been seeing Megan every week over the last year or so. When we first started talking my life was an absolute mess; I was in a severe state of burnout as I was losing my job, and dealing with intense anxiety, depression, and mood disorder symptoms. Megan was there to coach me through some of the hardest experiences of my life, and her broad expertise from over two decades in the mental health field gave her many insights into helping me navigate my situation, which ultimately is resulting in a total career change for me. My personal situation is pretty complicated and I'm not totally out of the woods yet, but even when I do encounter challenges today I feel SO much better equipped to handle them. Megan is an excellent therapist and I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through the last year of my life without her help and guidance. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10.

I have done therapy for many years with many therapists and Megan Boesen is in a class of her own. Megan is professional, knowledgeable, caring, extremely intelligent (both intellectually and emotionally) and in tune (with any issue I throw at her). She’s also very likable with a sense of humor both being overlooked qualities in therapists. Megan is goal/progress oriented and growth is dependent on your level of active participation. She’s supportive while being transparent and consistent….need I say more?

Megan was a godsend this summer/fall! She walked with me through an extremely difficult season in my life. Because I have a degree in counseling I was hesitant to complete my sign-up for BetterHelp because was worried I would be too critical of her counseling modalities. When BH matched me with Megan and I read her bio, I saw that she is highly qualified so I moved forward with seeing her. I am so thankful I did! Megan was just the right counselor for me. Thank you Megan and BH!

Megan Boesen is a gift. I have had a variety of therapy/therapists during my many years due to a continued pursuit for a healthy life free of Depression, eating disorders, and the like…Megan Boesen has been “the very best.” She is highly educated, intelligent, and supportive. She challenges me . She genuinely listens and responds to my individual therapeutic needs. She is highly organized, sets appropriate boundaries and expectations, and she is a therapist with a sense of humor, and heart. She is responsive to questions and shares positive feedback. I always feel recentered, refocused, and hopeful after a session (even during the most difficult times). I am very grateful.

Reviewed May 2023

Megan has been very helpful to work with. I appreciate that she reads my journal entries before our sessions, and she's a thoughtful listener. I'm able to bounce my thoughts off of her and get her input. She's also given me actionable things which I can do/implement in my life immediately. She's been very helpful.

Reviewed April 2023

Megan is great as she listens but also challenges you, but also makes you challenge yourself and be accountable to what you say and do but never in a negative way. She also gives you the tools to lay out your own road map to success and helps you along the way, which is what therapy is but the delivery and guidance used to help you in this process is friendly and encouraging giving you peace of mind knowing you’re in a safe space. The whole process she uses makes you want to go forward and I would recommend 10/10 times for anyone who needs a therapist.
