He always listens and really makes an effort to understand what I'm saying and even re-iterate my mess of my words into smaller, easier to understand sentences; to which he makes sure to verify if that is what I mean before moving forward. He has made sure at every turn to ensure he understands where I am coming from before leading into his response and checks with me if his response resonates with how I am feeling or if he misunderstood me before continuing. Being new to therapy, I was very nervous and intimidated, and was not sure how well I would be able to share and discuss the things necessary for my healing journey. Since the first session, I have felt very comfortable with Christopher and he has given me nothing less than a safe and constructive space to work towards who I want to be.
