My whole life has changed since I started talking to Elizabeth. She has supported me better than any therapist I've seen previously

Reviewed December 2024

I've had multiple therapists over the years, and my initial experiences were not great. The first few therapists I tried before discovering BetterHelp left me feeling skeptical about continuing therapy. However, I knew the potential benefits of therapy, so I decided to give it another chance, being more careful in selecting someone to open up to. That's when I found Elizabeth. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at "reading the room." Elizabeth knows when to speak and when to listen, and her compassion and understanding set her apart. Unlike my previous therapists, who sometimes pushed me to discuss things I wasn't ready to face and lacked empathy when I was emotional, Elizabeth respects my pace. She listens attentively and allows me to address past traumas when I feel ready. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate, understanding, and highly skilled therapist. Elizabeth's ability to create a safe and supportive environment has made a significant difference in my healing journey. If you're looking for someone who truly listens and respects your individual process, Elizabeth is the therapist for you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
