I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor accredited with the British Counselling Society (BACP )

I use Person Centred, CBT, Psychodynamics, Creative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Bereavement counselling skills to help clients to understand and manage their symptoms. I adapt my therapeutic approach in order to meet the needs of my clients.

I have experience working ethically with vulnerable people including adults and children (11-18). I am receiving 1.5 hours supervision once a month and also regularly attending different training courses as part of Continuous Professional Development.

I also have a Degree in Psychology which gives me a great understanding on the basis of human behaviour on distress situations.

I am bilingual speaker (English/Spanish) so I can offer counselling in both languages to adults and teenagers. I am licensed in the UK with 7 years of professional work experience.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, & parenting issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

During these years of experience, I have had the opportunity of working in different organizations and with a variety of issues.

Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! Thanks for reading my description. Vanessa

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments.
