Only had a few sessions so far with Tahreen, but she's already been brilliant. A great listener, kind and helpful. Asks questions that provoke and enquire, which help you look at your situation from all angles. She's exactly what I was looking for in a therapist.

We all need someone to talk to and to be heard, as there is no greater distress than bearing an untold story inside you and I would like to have this opportunity to support you to tell your story.

I provide counselling to individuals in a safe, relaxed, and non-judgmental environment. These sessions are tailored to your needs, working at your pace, ensuring that you are comfortable during the whole process where together we can explore any issues you bring to the session.

I work from within a Humanistic Existential perspective which means I work from a place of acknowledging and accepting that life can be a difficult and anxious process and sometimes we may need support from others to work through that process. I will work in an open, honest, and collaborative way to clarify what is happening, how it feels and look at what choices we may need to make to move forward in living the life we want for ourselves.

I recognise every client is an individual, this is the reason I offer an initial session where we meet and identify whether you want to start your counselling journey with me. I understand that the first step on this journey can be overwhelming please be reassured I will always work at a pace that feel comfortable for you. I can also speak Urdu and Punjabi.

I am fully qualified and licensed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I am registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their code of ethics. I have trained at the Cardiff & Vale College, which is accredited by the BACP in Humanistic Existential approach. This approach encourages the therapy process to revolve around the client and their needs, allowing me to access the knowledge and skills I have gained.

I am passionate about the work I do and feel privileged to be someone that people I work with describe as warm and compassionate. My aim is to help you become the best version of yourself as I believe everyone has the ability to grow and I would appreciate being part of your journey in doing so.

I would love to hear from you and am happy to discuss any questions and/or concerns to support you to make your decision.
