The therapy sessions as well as the chat exchange with Helen Downs has helped me a lot! I am very grateful to have her as my therapist. She offers a safe place and encouragement. We look at my issues together and she always manages to inspire something helpful out of me - either putting things into perspective, encourage me to see things (like thought patterns or opportunities) I wouldn't realise on my own, or educating me about tools and mindsets. I always find the worksheets she assigns me helpful. Also, if I have any doubts or questions about them or about the therapy I can tell her and we find a good solution. I learn to have more compassion with myself and engage new thought patterns. She also catches up on past topics, so I feel seen as a whole person. But she also encourages me to be independent and to apply the techniques on my own. I can highly recommend working with Helen Downs. Thank you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
