Tracey makes me feel so safe and understood. Her guidance is sometimes subtle, but definitely effective. She adapts so well to my emotional needs and even through the heavier topics we can laugh together.

Tracey has been amazing to work with, I was in a bad place and completely lost before I started with Tracey. Although I've never had a "breakthrough" in therapy before I did with Tracey on just my 3rd session which has been incredible. I've worked with councillors previously that just seem to follow the usual steps that go nowhere but Tracey breaks the mould and really leverages her experience to analyse what's going on and tackle the root of the problem.

I am an experienced therapist with plenty of life experience. I believe we are all stronger than we think and my unique way of working enables my clients to work through their issues in a way that is right for them,.

As well as being a counsellor I have experience in lots of other areas of life with much of my life working in a military environment supporting military personnel & their families.

Working in a way that is right for my client is really important and therefore I will adapt my approach accordingly using my knowledge and experience of different types of counselling to help explore what’s going on for my client.

I have many years professional experience and work in an Integretive way using my knowledge of various types of counselling techniques to help my clients find a way through their unique situation.

You may feel slightly apprehensive about starting on your counselling journey but honestly it will be easier than you think as you begin to work through whatever has bought you here.

I am a warm friendly person who is passionate about my profession. I have a great sense of humour and a wealth of life experience to draw upon. During therapy although we will be exploring your thoughts and feelings which can be emotional at times doesn’t mean it’s all doom and gloom and quite often there are light hearted moments of laughter in the counselling room as your journey progresses.

Throughout your therapy you will find that you will begin to make sense of things and gain clarity on things you may wish to change, you may find answers you have been looking for and overcome challenges you never thought possible. You may have a better understanding of yourself and what is and is not acceptable to you. You will gain new insights too which will enable you to feel happier about your life and wellbeing.

If something in your life is causing you concern you owe it to yourself to get the support you need. What are you waiting for?

I can provide counselling for most types of issues but also specialise within the areas of Loss and Bereavement, Rape, Sexual Abuse and Military Life issues.

I have over 12 years of counselling experience and have worked with people from all walks of life including Police officers, military personnel, teachers, doctors, university lecturers. Social workers …. The list is endless and proves that no one is exempt from mental health issues and there are times when even the most hardy of us may need counselling support.

If you think you would like us to work together please contact me.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I have been having weekly therapy sessions with Tracey since May 2023 and she has helped me hugely. She is a very good listener and always makes me feel valid and safe. I feel I can open up and tell her anything that is on my mind with no judgement in return. I also love the BetterHelp platform because it allows me to journal everyday which I have found really therapeutic. I can also message Tracey on here and she always replies to me. She is very professional but also a lovely person :)

I have only had two video sessions with Tracey so far but I have been writing journal entries and sharing them with her, she always responds to me and I feel like I have known her a lot longer than just two weeks. She is very warm, smiley and understanding. I really like to talk to her on the sessions because she does not interrupt, she listens to whatever I have to say and that makes me feel heard. Tracey has already made me feel confident that therapy will help me :)

Reviewed June 2023

Tracey is very good, I’ve had three sessions so far, and feel a shift in some negative things that I have spoken to Tracey about.

Reviewed April 2023

Tracy was fantastic. She held space for me to explore my thoughts and feelings and allowed me to process things so I could see them in a different light. She’s incredibly approachable and has some great techniques to help explore the subconscious. I would definitely recommend her xx
