I’m a MSc-qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist from Northern Ireland, now living and working in Scotland. I work using the person-centred approach to therapy, running my own private practice and seeing clients here on BetterHelp. I’ve also volunteered at a number of charities, hospices and organisations. I have over 500 hours of experience as a therapist and graduated as joint-top student from my MSc programme. I hold a COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate and an ACTO Online & Telephone Counselling Certificate.

I’ve worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, complex-PTSD, bereavement, narcissistic abuse, coercive control, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ+ issues and low self-esteem. I am qualified to work with individuals aged 16 or over.

I am based in Paisley, Scotland. I work in-person with clients at my home office. I also work with clients online all over the UK (Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales).

Are you tired of feeling anxious? Depressed? Struggling with a difficult situation?

Therapy is an investment in yourself. Being unconditionally accepted in a reliable and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship can enable great change in your life. It would be my privilege to support you in whatever challenge you are facing.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
