I have been meeting to speak over chat with Digna every week for the past 3/4 months and have found her to be extremely helpful and comforting. She’s amazing to talk to and I don’t ever feel like anything I say is too much, Digna often can relate to me in some way in regard to social anxiety. It’s nice being able to talk to someone who knows first hand how it feels to experience something like this. She listens to everything I say and relates this back to me and is happy to let me guide the sessions depending on whatever I am thinking that day. She sends me worksheets related to the topic of discussion that week for me to work on so although we only have 45 minutes every week there’s always something for me to work on. I know I still have a long way to go to develop my self confidence and ease my social anxiety however I am confident I can do this with Digna’s help and I’m extremely grateful for this service through BetterHelp.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
