Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I am a very closed person, never really approached the idea of therapy or disclosing my feelings and my experiences, but Amanda is an incredibly relaxing person to talk to and I find myself naturally wanting to tell her more and feeling comfortable enough to open up and talk about things that have happened. An amazing therapist and more importantly an amazing person

After just a few weeks with Amanda I was able to cover a variety of different issues and work through things I had held on to for far too long. Amanda listened and was able to bring out ideas in me I hadn't ever considered. She always put the time in to write back to my messages inbetween sessions and having this support really allowed me to open up and get a lot off my chest. I feel a lot lighter now, going away with ideas I can use going forward if I ever feel stuck again. She also helped me see my strengths and work with those and I came away with a renewed sense of confidence in myself. I would 100% recommend Amanda as a therapist to anyone suffering with low self esteem, relationship issues, family conflicts, working through your past and many more issues as she is very open to what you would like to talk about.
