My chats with Ed give me confidence, new ideas, and points I hadn’t previously considered. Our appointments are only guided by questions, thoughts, and things that came up in the week. Ed is a great listener and I value him as my therapist and friend.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I suck at keeping up with anything, but he's patient with me. Being the first therapist I can connect to after countless real life ones, it's fantastic we can just message instead of in person or video chat which makes me uncomfortable. That's why I love BetterHelp, and the fact he's in state makes me feel better too!
