Hello, my name is Libby and I am a qualified counsellor licensed in the UK with 15 years of professional experience in many different fields. I have worked for Social Services as a counsellor with children and young people, worked within the NHS (using various techniques and theories such as CBT, talking based therapies, Humanistic Integrative therapy among others), and also run a private practice as well as my Betterhelp work.
I have much experience with individuals and couples and specialise in relationship work - from couples in intimate relationships to families resolving conflicts or looking at their patterns of relating. I also work with clients helping manage stress and anxiety, OCD, phobias and also adjusting to life changes.
I am trained in different forms of talking therapies and always keep the client at the centre of the work, drawing on necessary theories and practices. I walk beside my clients and together we undertake this process to help overcome the challenges life can bring.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Elizabeth is an amazing therapist, she has really helped me work through some challenging areas in my life, and without her advice and support I would have struggled to deal with these things by myself.

Can’t explain how fantastic Libby is! I’ve spoken to a few therapists but none have come close to how understanding, supportive and non judgemental she is. Libby genuinely cares, checks in regularly and is always there. She gives great responses and has helped me immensely. I can talk about anything in my own time comfortably and Libby has great empathy. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth has been so supportive trough my bad days and even my good days. She shows me that she’s here to listen and support me. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth. She listens without any judgment and will never rush you into talking about something your not ready to talk about but will show you that she’s there when you are ready.
Libby has been extremely helpful since our first session, always responding with empathy and actively listening. She always follows up with me about things we talk about in previous sessions, and has helped me understand and work through issues. She is truly a wonderful therapist and can’t recommend her enough!
