I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist based in London. I have an MA and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, and I am a registered member of the BACP. I have over ten years experience working in private practice but also for the NHS. I have worked with people with a variety of concerns, such as; anxiety, depression, anger management, bereavement, trauma, neurodiversity, social anxiety, relationship problems and also issues around sexuality.

Approaching counselling and therapy for the first time can be an overwhelming prospect, and it is important that you choose someone who is right for you. I have experience in both short and long-term work. My therapeutic style is empathic and collaborative - I believe in treating people with compassion and respect. The integrative approach combines different schools of therapeutic style depending on the requirements of the client. I tend to work using a combination of the humanistic and psychodynamic approaches, with some CBT and solution-focussed processes too. I tailor our working style and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.

I generally check my Better Help messages frequently, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, during office hours. I appreciate your patience if I don't respond to you immediately while I may be taking care of other professional or personal commitments.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Kate is incredibly compassionate, thoughtful and intelligent. She really knows what to ask and what to say to help you on your journey. She is incredibly observant and intuitive and picked up on things quickly that helped to pinpoint how and I why I was feeling the way I was. Kate has helped me so much, and I couldn't thank her enough.
