Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

From the very beginning, Rachel created a warm and welcoming space for me to explore and navigate the challenges I've been facing. Her genuine compassion, empathy, and understanding have been instrumental in making my therapeutic journey a positive and transformative experience. What sets Rachel apart is her ability to actively listen and provide insightful perspectives, allowing me to gain valuable insights into my thoughts and emotions. Her approach is both professional and personable, making it easy for me to open up and share my concerns. I truly feel heard and understood, fostering a sense of trust that has been crucial in my healing process. She is amazing. She is direct with me which I asked for. Great listener and I look forward to our next session.
Rachel is an incredibly thoughtful therapist with a plethora of experience. Every session, I learn valuable information, as well as a variety of ways to manage my emotions. Rachel is patient and thoughtful, which makes it extremely easy to trust and open up to her. I have made a lot of growth under her expertise, and I am so thankful to call her my therapist. 5 star recommendation!
She is compassionate She knows when I am struggling. I trust her
Life happens. For me, I got to a point where I knew I couldn't do it alone anymore. This was the best decision I made, and an investment that has payed for itself and then some.
I feel that Rachel is honest, and she tries to get a good understanding of the situation before she makes comments or suggestions.
Rachel is a great therapist. She is a careful listener, and she is astute. She gave me helpful insights and worksheets that moved me toward my healing.
I've only done a few sessions with Rachel, but each session has helped me learn a bit more about myself and how to learn to try to cope with certain things and that I'm definitely not too far gone that I can't be helped. Even if some of the sessions aren't as in depth as others, it has still helped me throughout the week by making me think about things that I would like to bring up or how to better talk about concerns, or even just being more open minded and aware of things that I'm doing that I'd like to work on until my next session with her. Definitely the best therapist I've ever had the pleasure to be helped by!
Good
Rachel is awesome!
I've been working with Rachel for a couple of weeks now and I have to say she's so attentive to what you're saying. She offers her guidance and it is greatly appreciated. She lets you speak til you're finished, and is able to provide you with some insight on what she thinks will help. She genuinely wants you to succeed and wants to ensure you're taking care of yourself along the way.
It is import to have someone truly listen to me, and I need to talk. Rachel provides me with the reassurance that I need and at the end of the session I have new perspectives and a better out look. I look forward to my next session and journaling.
