More about Sarah

A saying that has helped me immensely on my journey through counselling is "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." This is because I may not be able to influence everything that happens in life, however, I have a choice in my beliefs and my reaction to a situation.

I accessed counselling from a young age and can honestly say it was a life changing experience for me. I knew then, that counselling was what I was destined to do. I am very passionate about counselling and the benefits it can have.

I may not have a magic wand, but I do have a safe space, a non judgemental approach and an empathetic viewpoint and truly want the best outcomes for all my clients. In my counselling sessions I work integratively, meaning I work with issues around the past, present and future, in a way that works best for the client.

I specialise in Abuse, ADHD, Anger. Anxiety, Bereavement. Depression. Gender Identity, LGBTQIA+, Phobias, Self-esteem, Self harm, Stress, Suicidal thoughts and Trauma. However, my work is not limited to the above list and if you have any question please contact me.

I am registered member of the British association for Counselling and psychotherapy, and this means I agree to adhere to their Ethical Framework.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
