Ben is amazing! Only been speaking to him for a couple of weeks but I feel like I have gone places I haven't with anyone else. He is very responsive and is keen to have an ongoing dialogue over message as well as video - feels like I'm almost getting two therapists in one! So thankful to have been paired with him.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by on my profile. If you're reading this then it's likely you need help with the kind of pain that's making it difficult to concentrate on or even know what you're doing in life. And this life pain might be affecting the focus you have on your relationship or what you do. Or maybe your relationship or what you do is affecting this life pain, or bringing your attention further towards it. It might feel like you're on a boat adrift on a river, not knowing where you're going towards, how you got there or that you even have any oars. And it's hard to talk about or even articulate the way you feel.

At your own pace, we can to get to know the problem, and we can at least lessen the pain and find clarity. And if we can get to know the problem well and increase clarity, then you might find you have something better than lessening the pain. For I specialise in helping people understand their pain, as it tends to be a window into what we value or believe.

I'm from a background that includes a wide variety of mental health states, from better to worse. But the confusion this gave me growing up had me develop a keen interest, confidence and passion for helping people navigate a wide variety of issues. Everyone has a story to tell, and maybe it's time you got to know yours. And get back your essence, or oars.

I've only been working with Ben for a few weeks, but so far he has been great. A much better match for me compared to previous therapists I've worked with. Ben is proactive and really seems to care about my progress. It feels like we're building on what we discussed previously and working towards a goal together. I'd highly recommend Ben.

Ben has a great laugh and seems to be a good soul. He has been quite helpful, I love that he has a good developing flow state that allows for therapy to go with what is happening with life whilst also coming back to the core as it naturally occurs. I appreciate that he is very open to adapting ways to get the therapy process more effective for both of us.

Ben is a great therapist and offers insight that I truely value. I had started therapy with Ben last year and after a few months break I came back and we continued where we left off. Genuine life line for me.

I am so happy I chose to speak to Ben. He really does listen and I feel like I’m in a safe space to share my deepest thoughts and feelings and don’t fear any judgment. He knows how to make me see things in a different perspective which helps me feel things differently and that gives me hope.

Ben has been an incredible source of guidance. He helps you navigate your life, giving you a greater awareness of yourself and reality, and in turn sharpening the tools you already have to live your life to the fullest extent. He is patient, compassionate and understanding. Highly recommended.

Ben has been a point of guidance for me for over 6 months and having tried a few other therapists before him, felt an instant connection and feeling that he’d be able to help me tackle the things I wanted to. Through listening, talking and giving me the space to truly open up, I’ve gotten to a place I didn’t think was possible and that is largely due to Ben’s skills as a therapist. Perhaps the thing that stands out most is the check ins to see how things are going and knowing that if I have something on my mind, Ben is just a message away. Couldn’t have asked for a better therapist!

Reviewed May 2023

Ben is a great therapist. In only two sessions he has made me think and question things I may have not otherwise have thought of and it’s an eye opening perspective. He’s friendly and easy to talk to and I know I can message him during the week outside of sessions as needed.

Great therapist to work with. I was very wary of betterhelp after reading reviews online but it's all about how good the therapist is at the end of the day and I feel like Ben is a very good therapist to work with. Would totally recommend

I had a support regarding my childhood addiction that I have had for more than 15 years and Ben wasn’t my first experience related to my this addiction. However, he brought to my problem a totally different point of view which helped me to understand on the cause of it for the first time during my life. To be honest, it wasn’t an easy process for me to be convinced on it. Thankfully, Ben knows well how to approach any problem I have had and he tried to answer any of my question as soon as possible - 7/24. Thanks Ben, highly appreciated!

Ben is fantastic and an amazing therapist! Too many words to describe how helpful and brilliant his work is. He fully understands the hardship and trauma his clients go through and he explains clear enough to help us understand ourselves better - I'm planning to go back to him in the future!

I am being asked to write a review after only one session which I think is not really fair for anyone. Ben is great at engaging, promoting positive energy and I feel he is very trustworthy. But I have no idea how good he is after one session. But I feel he is very good person and I want to continue with him. As he seems young, I only hope he does not rely on his textbooks and training so much. Every case is different and the treatment needs to be nuanced. Which I believe he understands, but need more time to see how it goes

Ben is an incredibly energetic, insightful, intelligent and compassionate therapist (and human being). I feel very lucky to have stumbled across him via BetterHelp. I am 35 and have suffered with severe depression for half of my life and it's only recently, with the guidance of Ben, that I am starting to make some durable progress. I hope to work with Ben for many years if necessary. 10/10 from me.
