Dan is easy to talk to and a great listener. His understanding of addiction/family issues has been particularly useful. Our sessions have been very helpful for me as a place to vent and get a sensible perspective on things.

Hey my name is Daniel Palmer and I offer person centred counselling services where our sessions will focus on you and your needs. I am based in Sleaford although travel to Grantham, Lincoln and surrounding areas. I offer sessions online, over phone. Sometimes life can be difficult and you may not know what to do. You may be feeling depressed or anxious and you have no one to talk to or you are not comfortable talking to friends and family. You may prefer to come and talk to someone who can offer you an empathetic and non-judgmental environment for you to discuss your problems and experiences in life.

My experience lies in private practice where I have worked with clients with many struggles and concerns. I also have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse at Trust House in Grantham, I was part of the Amy Winehouse Foundation working in schools with young people holding workshops on the resilience program. I have worked with people at Lincoln Trauma centre. Having worked with all different types of clients that include PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, stress, relationships and work issues plus many more traumatic life experiences, I understand it can be difficult to have a healthy and satisfying life.

My aim is to help guide you through your problems in the hope you can develop ways to feel more fulfilled, accepting of trauma and lastly, content in your life.

I understand it can feel daunting in taking this first step as it is sometimes difficult to reach out but, I hope you can as I will do my very best to make you feel safe and comfortable as we go through your journey together.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
