Cai (Faith) is a wonderful therapist. They provide me with a safe, comfortable environment where I know I can be vulnerable. They’ve provided me with real strategies specific to my needs that have helped me with my anxiety management. They are a wonderful balance of professionalism and comfort, which is hard to achieve. I feel heard and seen. I have never felt so supported in therapy before! Highly recommend!

I've been SO so grateful to have found Faith, in my experience with BetterHelp! I needed a less structured schedule, and a therapist who understood my new (to me) understanding of myself as a neurodivergent human, and Faith has been extremely accommodating. It's been incredibly helpful in so many ways the way that communication has taken place between us, and I feel that Faith does an amazing job of making sure that I feel heard and understood in my experiences and my struggles. In our time together so far I've found myself able to analyze things in ways and from angles I wouldn't have been able to see them from, alone, and it's created a space to approach things from that make me feel much more confident when dealing with difficult things. Faith has been the perfect match for me, and changed my initial view on the "Therapy thing" as I initially had a tough go of finding the right provider, and was becoming increasingly trepidatious that I would get the help I have very much needed at this time in my life.

Hello! You can call me Cai. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, certified personal trainer. AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor, and somatic coach. I love dogs, I'm a world traveler, rock climber, somatic abolitionist, BIPoC, queer, and neuro-divergent, therapist.

For new clients, please know that while I put some regularly occurring appointment times on my calendar, that my schedule varies, and is set-up to support you for 4-8 sessions. If after 4-8 sessions your goals, our schedules, and fit align, I am happy to discuss ongoing sessions. In my experience, 4-8 sessions with me works best if you are seeking to dive into experiential and somatic work, are seeking more support while working through a specific situation or recent life change, or have a specific, personal-growth goal.

I tend to work from a somatic lens, will teach coping skills when asked or it is appropriate to offer, cuss sometimes, throw in some humor, work intuitively, and through experiential process.

I welcome other therapists, teens, climbers, marginalized folx, and anyone drawn to something they’ve read here.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I had to change therapist unexpectedly and while looking through the list of therapist I felt a bit overwhelmed. It might be dumb but Faith's profile picture first caught my attention, as she looked like someone that would be easy to talk to and it made me feel a bit at ease. Reading her profile helped that feeling along. It gave me a sense of a professional that was open and willing to help without making the person seeking help feel like a number or statistic. I don't think I'm alone in worrying that bringing your troubling thoughts or feelings to someone else (often times professionals) will result in you being dropped into a standard box/category or written off as a typical case of this or that. Talking with Faith has been very helpful in my opinion. She makes me feel like I'm just me and its alright to not be sure about how to deal with all life throws at me. I know therapy isn't for everyone but I'm glad I gave it a shot. And I'm grateful that Faith has been here to help me.

Highly recommended, Faith is great! I’ve had several therapists throughout my life and it always took a while to open up but not with Faith. I instantly felt comfortable and I was able to be vulnerable in the first session!! We’ve already uncovered a lot after our first two sessions! Faith has an ability to empathize and meet you where you are at. Faith is great with connecting you to your body and helps you manage feelings in the session so you don’t feel drained afterwards. Super helpful approach to therapy!
