I believe in meeting clients where they are at in their healing process. There are circumstances that can throw someone off track - recovery is the journey of getting back on track. I am a very compassionate person and I walk through this journey with my clients and assist them in getting back on track to a life worth living. I wholeheartedly believe the past is necessary to explore, because in order to know where you're going, you need to know where you've come from. Additionally, you can't "say goodbye" to something if you haven't said hello to it.
My areas of expertise include treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress management, stress, self-soothing techniques, life transitions, substance abuse issues, adolescent issues, and relationship issues. I work with adults and adolescents providing individual and/or couples therapy.
I am compassionate and work hard to build a trusting relationship with each of my clients. I don't believe in the 'doctor-patient' relationship. I am personable, genuine, down-to-earth, laid back, and even a little goofy. I want my clients to get to know me too.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
