Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Kathy is a lovely therapist. She is easy to talk to, listens attentively to what I am sharing and gives good feedback as well as helpful resources I can look at and use between sessions.
Kathy has been a Godsend. She listens, empathizes and challenges - a great combination for me. She always suggests solutions, is easy to talk to, and has a very calming voice that helps me open up, introspect and work with her suggestions. I have found in her the shoulder of a sister (albeit from a different mother
Kathy is thoughtful, mindful and realistic. I really enjoy speaking with her.
Kathy is very professional and yet very human. She relates to me and meets me where I am (mentally) every time. She reiterates what I’ve said and helps me see things differently, showing me light where I didn’t see any. She is warm and compassionate, very much like a best friend, someone I trust completely.
I’ve been with Kathy for almost a year now; the longest I’ve ever stayed with a therapist. She’s the type of person that right away, I knew we would connect well. I don’t even think I knew this at the time, but I needed a therapist whose fundamentals centered on self-esteem. I had this idea of therapy in my head based on some bad experiences in the past, and Kathy helped me to break down those walls and realize this isn’t a forced thing. While it can be difficult to self-examine at times, it’s a privilege to be able to have our talks every week. As a therapist, she is extremely personable, reassuring and authentic. She genuinely listens & remembers what we’ve talked about from session to session (many times more so than me). I love that our sessions never feel stuffy or too clinical. I feel very safe with everything we discuss. I’ve found that starting my day or ending my week with a session really helps to get my mindset in a good place for whatever I have going on in the days to come. I am so grateful to have found this platform and been matched with Kathy. Everyone has different needs, but I believe that everyone can benefit from refocusing on self-love and self-worth. Often times, things I’ve labeled as something different, ultimately were simply a result of not knowing or valuing myself to the full extent. And coping skills. And boundaries. In my opinion, this is Kathy’s wheelhouse.
Kathy had been a huge help for me and I appreciate her calm and insight.
Kathy is very relatable. I feel very comfortable with her and am able to discuss anything knowing I won't be judged. She is kind and compassionate and above all very human. I feel like I'm chatting to a friend, rather than a therapy session. I feel heard, and validated. Kathy is able to help me see other points of view, other sides to my stories and is a great listener. She's not only the best therapist I've talked to, but the warmest and most human.
Kathy is a godsend. I’ve had negative experiences with therapists in the past, steering me away from seeking help. Kathy makes me feel comfortable and respected. She remembers what we’ve talked about from session to session and talks me through difficult situations from my past and recent present. I feel very fortunate to have been matched with Kathy as my therapist.
A good listener
I would like to share my good experience with Kathy in our therapy sessions. I feel very blessed to have the ability to talk with her, as I feel that she really understands me thanks to her sensitivity and experience. Also, she has a lot of useful tools to help me through this process I'm going through, and I feel I'm learning every session something new.
Kathy is an incredibly talented and effective therapist, and I would particularly recommend her to anyone who would like some guidance in their relationships. The sessions are non-judgemental, practical and interesting. The information Kathy sends in the week between sessions has always been really thought provoking, and she always responds to messages timeously!
I have felt quite comfortable with Kathy from my first session. She listens, ask stimulating questions and also shows empathy. I look forward to my sessions with her as I tend to be in a better mind frame after.
Kathy is a knowledge and good tempered therapist. She has taken the time to learn my case, and addresses my concerns and goals with regular reading materials that are easy to digest and absorb. I would absolutely recommend her. She is always on time, and ready to roll with any new developments.
Kathy is so personable and professional. She offers me extra information, homework and encouragement. Outstanding!
