I’m so grateful to have found Alison on betterhelp! I hear that it’s common for people to have to change therapists a few times to find one that is a good fit. I feel lucky that I didn’t have to do that. Thank you so much!

Alison is very helpful in grounding me when I feel somewhat floaty and untethered. Her advice is helpful and kind. I feel like I have a person in my corner.

Reviewed January 2023

The first time I spoke to Alison I felt unsure how therapy would go and if my therapist and I would be able to get to the root issues. Within just a few minutes Alison had identified a main issue and goal and spoke to me about the way I felt in a way that made me feel so seen, I just wanted to cry. I also loved that she was happy to adjust to my pace and give me lots of homework and support when I was ready to really be serious about therapy and my growth.

I appreciate that she checks in on me when I haven’t been very responsive.

I've seen quite a few people and honestly feel like Alison has helped me more in one session than any others in years combined. I feel heard, important, understood, and connected. I have hope for a greater mental health for the first time in my life.

She has broken down walls for me that I’ve been working on for years, and she did it in such a short amount of time. She is amazing.
