Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Brett has, by far and away, been the most effective and confidence inspiring therapist I've worked with. His manner of interacting is natural and questioning, he offers opinions and has a knack for getting to the core of what I'm trying to express. No other therapist has given me a sense of confidence that by working with them I will be able to uncover what's bothering me and help me gain understanding and progress through these issues. I feel very grateful to be able to work with Brett.

Brett has been amazing. These sessions have brought me a long way from where I was previously. It’s not just the comforting words, it was a journey to understand and find myself. This was one of my first therapy sessions and although I was skeptical of any change through therapy when starting I can now say differently. I highly recommend.

Reviewed January 2023

Very friendly and chatty. Have had good chats and he listens very well and gives lots of ideas back. I have felt much clarity and realise I am not crazy thanks to Brett. He Takes things very slowly. However for me personally I need more guidance and thorough help, and have learned I need get into my issues quicker rather than take a lot of my time discovering them. Would definitely recommend Brett, unless you prefer more thorough therapy work and to move along faster in your recovery rather than taking your time on it.
