Hi, my name is Paul. I am an accredited and qualified counsellor. I will work with you to overcome your challenges in life that may have caused things such as anxiety, anger and depression. I work in a supportive and effective way by providing a safe, non-judgemental environment where you will feel comfortable and at ease to speak openly and we can work constructively and collaboratively, to help you reach your goals by understanding your life experience.

I use several therapeutic models to support clients, depending on their needs, including, Person Centred Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Psychodynamic approaches and Solution focused Therapy to help clients in multiple ways to support them with things such as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, social anxiety, anger, addiction and bereavement.

I have been working in this field for many years, and have been able to successfully help people move forward with their lives. I have deep understanding of what it's like dealing with difficult emotions and situations, and this has given me a unique approach and understanding to help you move forward too.

Contacting a counsellor can feel daunting, but could also be life-changing. I offer sessions that work best for you, and I am qualified to provide virtual counselling sessions, whatever suits you.

Thank you for reading my profile, I hope it helps you with the sometimes difficult task of choosing a counsellor. If you have any questions around how I work or how I can help you please do let me know.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I've just had a couple of sessions with Paul, but in those sessions he was 100% listening, paying attention, and caring about my struggles. He also checked on me during these weeks, and read my journal entries/messages carefully. It seemed that he even took notes of them. I highly appreciate this because it shows me that he actually cares about me, and wants me to get better. Thank you so much, Paul.
