Hello, I’m Kimberley. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist, here to support you on your unique journey, wherever that may lead. Originally from Liverpool, I now call Devon home, where I live with my two dogs. I became a therapist because I know that finding the right support—someone who genuinely listens and understands—can be a challenge. I’m passionate about helping people who often feel overlooked or unheard, providing a space where they feel valued, respected, and supported.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people from many different walks of life. Whether it’s members of the GSRD communities, survivors of domestic violence, those in uniformed services (both past and present) along with their families and loved ones, or anyone facing challenges like anxiety, depression, long-term health issues, work stress, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, I’m here to offer genuine support. My approach is all about creating a confidential, welcoming space where you can freely explore your experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll work to understand and manage what’s going on for you, build resilience, and help you regain a sense of control. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and life’s twists and turns can sometimes make it hard to stay balanced. Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just ‘not yourself’ happens to us all—it’s part of being human. Reaching out for help is a strong and positive step forward.

In our sessions, I take an integrative, humanistic approach, tailoring techniques to fit you. I believe in the power of self-understanding, resilience, and personal growth, and I’ll support you in finding ways to navigate challenges in a way that feels right. At the heart of my work is a relationship grounded in trust, respect, and acceptance—a place where you can be exactly who you are and feel truly heard.

To me, therapy should be inclusive, respectful, and accessible to everyone. I’m here to understand your story, not to apply labels, and together we’ll create a way forward that feels right for you. Whether we connect by phone, video, or online messaging, I’ll work to ensure that your experience is empowering and aligns with what you need.

Throughout my years as a therapist, I’ve come to understand that everyone’s experience is unique, shaped by the paths they’ve walked and the obstacles they’ve faced. I’m here to listen to your story without judgment, honouring your experiences and the strengths you bring, whether they’re easy to see or deeply hidden. I understand that asking for help can feel daunting, especially when life’s challenges seem endless. That’s why I focus on building a grounded, supportive relationship that allows you to open up and explore what’s happening in your life at a pace that feels comfortable.

My approach isn’t just about helping you overcome challenges; it’s about helping you thrive in a way that aligns with who you are. Whether it’s finding new strategies to manage stress, working through past pain or trauma, or building resilience, I’ll be there as your guide, offering tools and insights that fit with your life and values. Together, we’ll discover ways to cope, grow, and embrace change—even when it feels challenging.

At the core of our work together is you. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, one where your voice, goals, and well-being are the priority. My commitment is to empower you, helping you recognise and embrace the strengths you have, as well as developing new ways to approach life’s challenges. Every person deserves to feel heard and valued, and I am here to walk with you on that journey.

• PGCERT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (2023)

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
