Hello and thank you for visiting my page. People seek counselling for a variety of reasons and no one reason is lesser nor greater than another. Each reason is unique and crucial to that individual. As a counsellor, I offer you a safe, caring and trusting space to bring your unique issue(s) where you can talk without fear of judgement or criticism. I will listen to you and support you through your difficult time as we explore together, at your pace, what might be holding you back and how to take control of your life.

I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). My counselling approach is person-centred. I offer my services to adults, aged eighteen and upwards from all backgrounds.

It can feel unnerving to take that first step in therapy so I hope it helps you to know that I am warm, approachable and I endeavour to make you feel comfortable. The therapeutic relationship is important in terms of therapeutic success, so finding the right counsellor for you is key. If you feel that could be me, I look forward to hearing from you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I'm so grateful to Better Help for matching me with Elaine. As it was my first time seeking professional mental health support it took me a few sessions to get used to the concept of therapy sessions and to get familiar with Elaine, but Elaine's kindness and gentle approach made me trust the process. Within a few months, I could already see a huge progress and felt much better. Elaine has helped me work through issues and has provided me with tools and strategies to tackle problems and improve my well-being. She helped me become more grateful, have a more positive outlook, and believe in my own value and capabilities. I would highly recommend Elaine to anyone seeking a caring and effective therapist. She has truly made a positive impact on my life.

She has been the greatest help and confidant to me. She has also help me process some traumas from my past, listens to me and always makes me feel at ease. I can discuss and talk about anything with her . She has been a great help during my darkest moments and I appreciate that. I highly recommend her if you need a therapist to help you confront your trauma and everyday struggles. It's only been a couple of months, and I see the difference this is making in my life.
