Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

We only had 2 session, but I like it so far. It's a difficult journey for me, but I think I am in good hands of a specialist who understands what needs to be done. Nicki also has very warm and empathetic personality, so she understands many things without me saying it clearly, which makes the sessions easier.

Highly recommend,, i was able to get a lot of problems off my chest that I felt I couldn’t tell people close to me. I have a lot of trust in my therapist. I always look forward to my live sessions weekly and it has definitely eased my anxiety and the way I look and handle situations.

Reviewed January 2023

Nicki helped me with finding my way through one of the hardest experiences in my adult life. Continuing to talk to her has helped me to realise this was not an isolated incident, but links back to so many parts of my life and how I approach things. It’s been helpful to explore this further, and further understand myself. Her listening and guidance is the help I knew I needed for a long time, but hadn’t felt ready to access. I appreciate how gently she helped me trust the process and encouraged me to stick with it.

Reviewed January 2023

I have had a few different people to talk to but Nicki has been the easiest person to talk to and work with. She genuinely cares and not once have i felt judged, looked down on or ignored. I have taken away something after every session. I would recommend her to anyone.
