I am a Counsellor based in the UK, with extensive experience working with individuals ready to make positive change in their life. My clients come from very diverse backgrounds and include professionals, stay at home mums and students with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bereavement and relationship problems, in particular that question of "what else can I try on my own?" and "is it me?" I also have experience in helping you rebuild your self esteem, improve self confidence after a relationship break up, or unhappy partnership.

I have worked within a Hospice setting supporting clients with terminal and non terminal diagnosis, their carers coming to terms with the resulting changes in their loved ones as well as supporting the balance between moving forward when grief and bereavement wants life to stand still.

My practice has evolved to aim for quick results . Our sessions will be focused on your priorities and meet your unique and specific needs.

My approach combines person centred, cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapy. This means that I am a therapist that knows you have all the skills inside you, we just have to find them so you can use them every day. My objective is to give you the tools to help you feel more in control, focused and empowered between sessions so that you can start to integrate changes in your life and start living the life you want. If you want to make change, you have to change the way you are thinking or behaving, so between sessions clients often are given priorities to focus on.

I have developed my techniques over eight years to include mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing, viewing your whole body as an integrated system.

It feels like she thinks hard about your specific situation and truly cares it’s right for you. I have needed her help for understanding narcissistic manipulation and abuse. What I like about Stephanie is she’s empathetic, supportive, a great active listener and really action-focused. We’ve only been working together for a short while but I’ve appreciated the variety of exercises - reading recommendations, recommendations for better help classes that might be useful, journaling, worksheets, recording guided meditations to help me sleep, and I’m sure there are many other creative ways she will help me uncover further insights and results as we move forward. I also really appreciate her holistic and balanced approach which looks at the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual dimensions as needed and how to bring these into balance.
