Hello,

A warm welcome to my profile. My name is Laura and I have been a qualified therapist for over 7 years. I believe finding the right therapist for you is fundamental to the therapeutic process. My aim is to offer a safe, warm, approachable space for you to explore anything that maybe impacting your life. Counselling can be difficult as you begin to talk about and unpick thoughts, feelings and situations that feel uncomfortable. Together we can work through some of those challenges, helping you develop a healthier and stronger sense of yourself, integrating various methods, theories and coping strategies.

At times, life can feel like a struggle and unexpected challenges may arise, this can feel debilitating and hard to cope with. Dealing with these thoughts, feelings and behaviours on your own can be difficult. But together, we can talk about these conflicts, openly explore any issues that may be holding you back, recognise specific links and patterns and start to work on solutions. This, in turn, will help you to move forward, be more comfortable with yourself and live a more fulfilled and happy life.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

This is the first time I had tried anything like this and I have found the benefits almost immediately. Having a time and space to process what is going on and say the things out loud has made such a difference. Laura is very understanding and listens to everything I have to say joining dots that I have never seen. Very happy with the sessions and plan to continue with them

Laura has been incredibly supportive and helped me during a very difficult time personally. She is very attentive and really does listen and checks in regularly outside of sessions to see how I'm doing. Couldn't have asked for a better therapist considering this is my first time using one. Also the dog says thanks as well
