I am so impressed with how well Emma understands what I'm trying to say.... sometimes I don't even understand it myself, so it really makes me feel like she's listening and has a good knowledge of my thoughts and emotions. I definitely feel safe when talking to her.

I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor based in West London. I offer a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can explore whatever difficulties you are facing in a non-judgemental environment.

I work with people experiencing a range of issues from anxiety and depression, PTSD and trauma, low self esteem and anger issues as well as relationship and work related issues right through to those suffering with complex personality disorders, suicidal thoughts and those who self harm.  I have a special interest in working with those with life changing illnesses/injuries and those who are struggling to come to terms with a disability/long term illness that impacts their daily life.

I only work Monday - Wednesday and therefore there may be a delay in responding to you if you message me outside of my work hours.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Reviewed January 2023

Emma has helped me begin the process of recovering from a traumatic experience which trigged a lot of historic issues. Her approach has been better than I could have expected, she's thoughtful, understanding and clearly listens. She helps me approach things from new perspectives and is incredibly compassionate. I was scared to start therapy, but having met Emma, I'm really unsure why I was worried. I now have an outlet for my issues and I'm working through them, it's been life changing!
