Rosie has been excellent. She provides a very safe environment to discuss issues and is very good at challenging perceptions and getting me to rethink things. The issue I came to therapy for has really improved and I think that other areas of my life have also been improved due to this therapy. Overall very impressed and grateful to have been matched with Rosie.

A warm hello and welcome to my profile.

People seek counselling for all kinds of reasons. Some may want help with a specific issue and others might want to reach a specific goal. I endeavour to help clients to develop, grow and flourish - whatever that looks like for you.

I will move alongside you and your unique view of the world at your own pace, while working in collaboration with you to promote your self-awareness, authenticity and self-esteem.

What counselling can do for you:

My approach to counselling is humanistic and grounded in person-centred principals about human potential. At the heart of the approach is the belief that humans are capable of flourishing when they encounter the right conditions for change. This happens through an innate ability to resolve difficulties and move towards being and accepting who we really are.

This journey looks and feels different for everyone, but processing our thoughts, feelings and experiences in counselling is a good place to start. Self-exploration helps to develop an awareness of how we are affected by what happens to us in our lives. While we unpack the relationship between what happens to us and how we feel, we can reframe and re-evaluate the messages and ideas that we receive from people and events, both in our past and present. From there you can…

- Find ways of coping with stress and anxiety in areas like school, university, exams, work or social life

- Learn how to use boundaries to form healthier relationships

- Better understand your internal reactions and feelings

- Form a healthier relationship with yourself; one which is built on self-compassion, self-acceptance and internal validation

- Uncover meaning and promote your ‘sense of self’

- Connect with your ‘spiritual you’

And much more…

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Very helpful and pays good attention to my needs and my thoughts

Reviewed July 2023

Rosie is a fantastic therapist, and over a couple of months has helped understand my own emotions, thoughts, and actions better than I have by myself for 25 years. She has a very friendly and conversational approach which worked best with me, as I had never done therapy before. My impression of therapy was of a middle aged man with a clipboard quizzing you and deciding what your problem is based on the answers you give, but Rosie's approach was far better!

Reviewed February 2023

Rosie is amazing! She listens to exactly what you have to say and makes you feel at ease within the whole session. She understands what you want from therapy and works with you to really get to the root cause of it. Couldn’t recommend enough!
