This was my first time having therapy and Aaron is great. He's clearly very knowledgeable but I don't feel intimidated at all, it's as though you're having a chat with a mate you've known for ages but with very useful guidance and worksheets for the next session. He allows you to talk without judgement and you don't feel patronised either.

To new clients: I currently have NO after 6pm slots free.

Are you feeling lost? Do you need someone that understands? Are you feeling that no-one understands? Then coming to talk might be the thing for you...

Hello I am Aaron. I work as an Integrative Counsellor with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the am also a member of the British Psychological Society. I currently have worked for numerous agencies for over many years and have previously also supported emergency service charities to support those whom support so many of us.

I work using a person-centred base with an Integrative approach, using multiple techniques and modalities with my clients to achieve their goals through therapy. I have worked with many different age groups and many different presented issues and have a myriad of experience in dealing with the root causes of people's trauma or reason they have come to therapy.

In therapy I work by putting your needs and goals at the centre of the therapy, we will work together to make sure that therapy is not a scary place to be- but one where you feel safe and confident each session and understand yourself best as well as bring your emotional responses and your feelings value.

I am also very aware how overwhelming coming to therapy can be but with that risk comes great reward for you and so if you feel you need support, I will do my utmost to ensure you feel safe and secure as you need space to figure out what is best for you mentally and/or emotionally, then implement your needs within the therapy framework.

I believe everyone has the ability within them to achieve their goals and potential. Sometimes people get just a bit stuck, or through upbringing or life circumstances we learn ways of being that drag us down. I aim through my therapy and work to provide support to many people in these situations, validate their emotions and experiences and allow them more clarity and comfort in their everyday life.

Life is hard and fighting yourself is even harder- but through putting you first we can work through things together and in therapy give you that voice to hear yourself in ways you never have before.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
