George is a kind, welcoming, witty and experienced therapist. He is a fantastic and sharp listener who quickly picked up on various underlying feelings I was expressing. He is open to sharing his experiences, which makes him very relatable and makes his therapy setting a very comfortable and open one. I highly recommend him as a therapist.

More about George

I am a therapist with experience in a wide range of issues such as stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, grief, motivation, confidence, relationship issues, addictions and everyday struggles. I offer both face to face and online therapy, with offices in Epping, Harlow and Chelmsford.

I provide a safe, welcoming and friendly environment which allows each client to feel at ease, helping them to be as open and honest as they can be throughout their sessions. I use a range of different techniques, such as psychodynamic, person centred and CBT.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the City for 15 years and suffered with stress, anxiety and panic attacks. My experience with this led me to start a new career in psychotherapy so that I could help others overcome mental health issues and be part of a process that enables someone to make a positive change in their life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
