My name is El and I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist. I am a trained humanistic therapist as well as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist and therefore I predominantly draw from humanistic, psycho-analytic and art based frameworks. I have worked in a range of different settings such as the NHS, charitable organisations, education and the private sector. I have a small practices based in Kensington which I work from three days a week. My practice is both face to face and digital. I offer a standard rate but can be flexible within reason for low income clients / students. I offer an open and warm environment for all of my clients were we can build a trusting authentic relationship. Sometimes things can become overwhelming and I believe that working creatively can offer alternative perspective to things that start to weigh us down.

I have a BA in Humanistic Therapy and predominantly worked with abuse survivors during and after my training. I have also worked across several schools with children as young as 5, working mainly with children and family with difficult backgrounds. As my career progressed I began working within the NHS in primary care as a 1-1 therapist treating patients with a range of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Through this I gained a vast knowledge and understanding of working with clients seeking asylum within the UK. During and after my Dance Movement Psychotherapy training (MA) alongside trauma survivors I began working with the homeless community before progressing onto workshops, group works and 1-1 work within detox and rehabilitation addiction hubs. I currently work with young people alongside secondary care addiction work to compliment my private practice. I am a qualified integrative supervisor and work with individuals and groups. Finally, I often run / facilitate CPD events and workshops across London and Nottinghamshire.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
