Lucy is a wonderful person who has made me feel comfortable from the very beggining. She is kind, funny and an extremely good listener. Her advice is genuine and thoughtful. I've only had a couple of sessions with her so far and already I feel a difference. Thank you Lucy!

Very glad I chose Lucy for therapy here on betterhelp. She always listens closely and offers helpful comments. The vast majority of the time I come away from the session with a discovery or something positive to process.

Outside of my counselling qualifications, my biggest offering to you as a therapist is authenticity. Seeking out therapy can be intimidating and the last thing anyone wants is to be sat in a stuffy environment, trying to figure out what to say, whilst someone nods along, poker faced, scribbling furiously in a notebook! I like to infuse therapy with connection, kindness and the odd giggle to alleviate the heaviness from time to time.

I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I blend person centred counselling, attachment theory and CBT, tailoring to your specific needs and preferences. Within this, you’ll have space to explore & organise your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, experiences, to ‘connect the dots’ or just simply to talk and be heard in a safe, supportive and none judgemental environment.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

From the start, Lucy’s energy has made me feel empowered. As I always say at the end of my sessions, I leave feeling “lighter”. By this I mean, I feel heard and actively listened too, understood, and maybe even appreciated. She literally does what she says in her bio, lends a listening ear and helps me connect the dots. Very very lucky to have come across her as my therapist!!
