Well I have only worked/ been working with Aaren 4 two weeks but I feel already that he is starting to know me. He never waffles big paragraphs at me or anything like that. I don't see how the Therapy could ever tax me or put me out! It's all good thing. He sounds as if he's got a wealth of experience /life experience. I don't find him strict or snooty or judgement. Today I asked him to slow down or pause 4 a few, he replies were quicker than my explanations/ ideas. I believe now that I am onto a GOOD thing. My confidence has already had a little "pep". I still have issues to deal with, but I'm confident he can help me. I feel LESS trapped. I'm less stuck with certain BiGGER emotions. I enjoy being guided by Aaren very much. He would never push anyone. That's just 2 sessions! Thank you Aaren.

Hi, my name is Aaren and I am a qualified Person Centred Therapist accredited by the National Counselling Psychotherapy Society. That basically means that I am trained to work by building a professional relationship with each of my clients based on trust, compassion, empathy, genuineness and acceptance (plus, a good laugh when appropriate)

My aim is to create sessions where you feel able to be your genuine and authentic self in a judgement free zone knowing that your emotions and opinions are accepted. I’m a strong believer of working collaboratively with you. After all, you are the expert of your life and I am here to simply help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences talking with you about the choices available.

I promise not to sit and ask you “how does that make you feel” after everything you mention as I believe that each individual is precisely that… an individual! With different needs/wants when accessing therapy. There is a common stereotype around counselling where we’re pictured to sit and nod, make notes, and give open ended statements. My approach is the opposite of that. I can accept when a situation isn’t great, because after all,if it was, you wouldn't be seeking counselling.

So, if you ever feel like you're simply watching your life pass you by, if you’re struggling to manage or understand your emotions, if things are difficult for you or even if you just need someone to talk to about day to day life, know that there is no right or wrong reason for accessing therapy. I understand that this step in your life is a very personal decision so if you feel ready to reach out, know that I am there to guide you through the process, the emphasis will always be on you remaining in the driver's seat and feeling empowered.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
