Making a decision to find someone to support you on your journey can be a difficult step to take. With so many questions to answer, it can feel a little intimidating. How do you know you're going to find the right fit for you? Are there questions you'd like answered but you don't know how to phrase them?
Before we start our journey, one of the most important steps is ensuring that you feel comfortable, and getting answers to the questions you may have while talking through your options together.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, my work is at a pace that suits you, offering both short term and long-term therapy depending upon your needs. It's important that you remain in control of how your therapy progresses, I like to think that you are in the driving seat throughout our time together.
I can offer a safe environment for us to explore whatever you may wish to bring to each session, with empathy. We can work together to build a trusting and therapeutic relationship, without judgement, which enables you to explore your thoughts and feelings and come to a better understanding and management of them. We all have the ability to grow with the right tools to create that growth and understanding.
I have over ten years of experience in working with adults from differing backgrounds, through a range of issues, particularly around domestic and sexual abuse and bereavement.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

My therapist is understanding, she listens, and gives me coping mechanisms.
Michelle is incredible - I am so grateful for her support, assistance and expertise! I could not recommend her highly enough!
Michelle is a very compassionate and skilled therapist who creates a safe and supportive environment for personal reflection and healing. Her insightful guidance has already made a profound difference in my mental well-being.
Never doing therapy before I was very nervous going in, but having a person centered therapist means I can do things in the way that suits me. There is no expectation from Michelle, she makes me think about what my reasons are and calls me out when I’m unrealistic. I couldn’t recommend her enough after only 3 weeks I’m learning more about myself than I thought possible.
I really like working with Michelle. She understands my complexities and supports me all the way. I have been able to build up a therapeutic relationship with her and trust her which means I can tell her anything. I am grateful to have her as my therapist.

I feel comfortable with Michelle. She is understanding of my situation and very supportive.
Working with Michelle has been an incredibly valuable experience for me. At an extremely challenging time in my life, she helped me to find perspective, has challenged my beliefs and has helped shine a clear light on my lived experiences and some of my core beliefs. An extremely supportive, kind and insightful professional. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Michelle is a very empathetic therapist. She is strong in figuring out what needs to be addressed. Can’t recommend her enough.
I’ve only been working with Michelle for a short while but it has been hugely beneficial. She’s kind, extremely insightful and has opened me up to some perspectives that I really had not considered up to now. I couldn’t recommend her enough.
Michelle is absolutely incredible! She has extensive experience and expertise in post trauma therapy. She provides just the perfect amount of support, attention, advice, encouragement, validation and has a great sense of humour. I am extremely grateful for her work.
Absolutely wonderful therapist. Compassionate and sympathetic while being professional and honest with me. Always feel comfortable chatting with Michelle about all sorts of topics. She has helped me immensely through my journey and I'm glad I was matched with her.
Michelle has been extremely helpful during the really bad phase I have been going through. She is competent, warm and caring and has good & helpful suggestions. I am so glad that I found her!
She’s so lovely and sweet
I find Michelle to be very professional, a good listener and very capable of giving sound advice when needed.
Michelle is great! In 2 sessions, I have shared, laughed, felt heard and been witnessed. She is compassionate, caring and supportive.
Michelle is a great listener and offers support and clarity in a kind way. She really holds the space in a way that feels safe.
Lovely friendly lady, always nice to have a chat with but she can also get serious and tackle hard subjects or topics with an abundance of compassion. Always puts my mind at ease no matter what my worries are, big or small.
Lovely and easy to talk to
Michelle is always there. She really cares above and beyond. She allows me to be me and then gives me strong advice when I need it. That is nothing generic, I mean advice totally based on me and my needs and she gives it in a timely manner. Her timing is excellent. She knows when to listen and when to help. Michelle is a truly genuine and caring person.
Michelle helped me to come to terms with my grief and family conflict over a family member's illness and passing. She helped me to resolve the anger and anxiety that I felt as a result of these events, and to come up with coping strategies going forward. If I ever need to speak with a therapist again, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her again.
Really feel my therapist understands and gets me, definitely feel lighter after our sessions and more hopeful.
Speaking with Michelle is like speaking with a good friend but without having the fear of being a burden or judgement, she one of life's guardian angels - she just sheds the light with such a positive energy, her technique is very laid back and non pressurised. I love that its nothing like I have experienced before.
Michelle is very comforting and makes me feel at easy and I feel like we have a mutual understanding of my issues and what we have ti work on .
