More about Craig

  • 12 years' experience
  • Male
  • NCPS

I aim to help those who are experiencing difficulties in their lives, and struggling to find solutions by themselves. Finding their own answers to their problems and once again find fulfilment and enjoyment in life and its simplicities.

I provide a professional and confidential service that is not only underpinned by formal education but also my life experiences. Since 2012, I have helped many people find clarity, peace of mind and self-fulfillment. I am aware that the journey through counselling much like that of life can be a very difficult one at times. In these times I will be willing to be there right beside you no matter how difficult it becomes. We could sit in silence, or we could sit and chat, of we could sit and you could just let it all out. I won't be afraid to be afraid and hope you wouldn't either. I know I don't have all the answers and I'm sure at the start neither would you. However, I believe that with just the right amount of compassion, guidance and challenge we as human beings can reach deep within ourselves and find the answers we need.

I'm here when you are ready.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

It's hard to know anyone. In fact it's arguable that you cannot know anyone completely. However, whenever I've spoken to Craig he's shown himself to be an intelligent, empathic, caring, kind and thoughtful very human being. I think I came here looking for answers which are impossible to give, but Craig will say things that will get me thinking in a helpful way. I often think his words have motive to get you to do that, even if I think he might have more answers than he gives away due to the importance of people getting there on their own. I think he's coped with me very well as I consider my issues to be complex and many. We all contain multitudes and I think his experiences in life have served him will in understanding those of others. He is very well read on the textbook stuff but doesn't dive into the textbook stuff so much as behave like that very human being. Thank you Craig

Craig is an amazing expert. I have been working with him since about 2 months and I can say he's already helped me a lot with changing my perspective on core beliefs I had. I don't know how he does it but he always asks you the right questions at the right time which opens up your mind. He's also very authentic which helps with having a trustful connection. Very grateful to him for his patience, empathy and dedication and can only recommend him!

This is my first time speaking to a therapist and I wished I had done it sooner. Craig is amazing, he is very professional and intelligent. He’s very easy to talk to, doesn’t judge, always checks in with you and makes sure that the sessions are going in the direction you want them to go. I’ve been working with Craig for just over a month and within that time I have seen my life change for the better.

Reviewed May 2022

Very knowledgeable and offers as much or as little structure to session as I’ve wanted, which I really liked. Only two sessions so far, but would recommend based on experience to date

Reviewed April 2022

Finding Craig (really, being matched with him through BetterHelp) has been such a relief. I've tried therapy before and it was fine, but Craig is such a better fit for me! I look forward to our weekly conversations. On top of that, he checks in with me between sessions, and I often write him updates and send him my journal entries. It makes the sessions more productive, because I can update him on things I'd like to work on in-between sessions. And when I'm having a bad day, I know I can always drop him a note and it helps so much to know there's always someone listening. It is really comforting to reach out to him when I'm anxious and I get a rapid reply which helps me get through the day.

Reviewed March 2022

Craig has been very easy to talk to. I’ve been able to share things with him without feeling judged. He has been helping me to look into my problems in a much deeper manner which is definitely helping me to understand myself more.
