I qualified as a counsellor in 2007 and I'm currently a registered member of the BACP.
Since qualifying, I've worked consistently across various areas of counselling so I have a lot of experience of working with all different kinds of issues like relationship breakdown, family problems, bereavement, abuse, domestic violence, stress, anxiety, depression, eating related issues, work related issues, change management, loss, trauma, sexuality and addictions to name a few.
I'm an integrative counsellor which, in normal speak, just means that I combine different types of therapy to suit the varying needs of the different people that I work with, all of which I am trained in.
Overall I'm very client centred (I work with the issues you want to focus on) whilst remaining solution focussed and I'm generally just a very warm, non-judgemental and confident person.
My priority across the board, is to provide my clients with a confidential and effective environment in which they feel safe, comfortable and able to work through whatever it is that's causing problems in their life.
I provide long-term, short-term, and time limited therapy, this can be either via telephone or video calls.

About online counseling
- Affordable.
- Pay a low flat fee.
- Convenient.
- Do it at your own time and at your own pace. Communicate whenever you feel it's needed.
- Available now.
- There is no waiting list and no calls to make. Simply fill out a short questionnaire and send your first message.
Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Lucy is amazing. She totally "got" me within the first session and now working with her is much easier than I have experienced before in therapy
Very understanding and knowledgable. Never grumbles about my massive long messages :-) and always provides reassurance. Gives me a good insight into other ways of thinking.
Lucy is patient and understanding and has hugely helped me through some difficult times.
Lucy has been a wonderful support and a great source of knowledge and wisdom. I feel calmer and like I am in safe hands.
