It’s very early days as I’ve only had two sessions so far but Deborah is really opening me up and I’m realising things about myself which are proving helpful so far

I can not thank Deborah enough for her compassion, kindness and wise words. She’s truly gifted and talented at what she does. I would highly recommend having a session with her - it will change your life for the better. When I first met with Deborah (first time ever having therapy) I had hit rock bottom… the rug had been pulled out from underneath me, and I was struggling! I couldn’t get out of bed, go to work, eat, sleep just do any normal daily activities - it felt unbearable. My long term relationship had ended, I lost my home, lost my dog, job had changed (unintentionally due to a restructures) so I was experiencing so much change, and it felt like my life was spiralling out of control and I was extremely overwhelmed. Deborah has such a calming presence and immediately in session 1 I felt at extremely at ease. She truly cares about you and your wellbeing. 4 months later of regular sessions, and I can honestly say my life has completely changed for the better. I feel so much more empowered and at peace with my life. I have an enormous range of tools and knowledge that I can now tap into to help navigate change that will inevitably crop up again in all areas of my life - but I now feel equipped and confident that I can manage it on my own. This is all thanks to Deborah! I am truly grateful to have had her as my therapist, and would not hesitate to recommend her services in the future.

I am a adult Pluralistic psychotherapist/ counsellor with three years experience of working in adult services as a therapist. I have worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self harm, bereavement , career challenges and clients who have suffered neurological health issues and their families. I have supported many people who have experienced physical and emotional abuse and childhood trauma.

My therapy style is person centred and client lead with principles of a pluralistic approach, I help people with the use of different processes and activity's at different times by engaging the them in a shared decision making process. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion, My approach combines, humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural. I work directly from a shared decision approach, I talk to clients about what they want from therapy, and how they might most effectively be helped to get there.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Deborah instantly became Deb for me and it was a very good relationship throughout the course of my therapy with her. I believe because Deb understood my problems very well, guided me with various valuable exercises and material to cope with my stress and anxiety. Deb came across as a mature therapist who understands tricky situations and after talking to Deb on multiple sessions - I have started valuing myself more and feel more relaxed. Thanks Deb for all the help you provided :)
