My name is Kate and I am the proud founder of Dot's Counselling & Wellbeing. I understand the process of finding a counsellor and opening up about your feelings can be difficult, but trust me... there's not a lot I haven't heard! So whatever issue you're facing or feelings you have, no matter how big or small, we can work together to discover a way forward that's right for you. I aim to build trusting, empowering relationships with my clients, creating a safe and confidential space for you to truly feel heard.

Together we can explore what you feel ready to share – whether these are current, buried or almost forgotten experiences. I will be at your side every step of the way, helping you on your journey of growth and change.

At the start of this journey, life can feel very scary, lonely and confusing. With my style of working, I aim to help you feel calm, clear and supported, enabling you to become the person you want to be.

I offer sessions over the phone, or on video call.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Kate is really great at asking the hard questions. For instance “what aren’t you telling me” Kate sparks thoughts and gets me to question myself, she listens, sympathises and truly loves what she does because her work reflects it, her personality reflects it. I’m so happy that the universe brought me to kate.

Kate is a very calming and supportive influence. I came into therapy with no "major" issues but a few gripes I needed help making sense of. I wasn't sure if therapy could help but in the first session she cut right through my waffle and summarised my exact feelings to where it made sense. She put me at ease straight away and 3 weeks in I can definitely see the positive effect in my day to day life. Thank you Kate
