I am going through many changes in my life at once. I am uncomfortable with many of them, having conflicting thoughts and many uncertainties. Having a calm and thoughtful therapist like Janice makes me slow down, reflect and put things in perspective that I didn't manage to do myself, even though I thought of topics for countless hours and sleepless nights. It feels as if I breathe more easily after our sessions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Great therapy sessions where I feel listened to and can talk my issues out.

Janice helped me during a depression / grieving phase and recommended me books to read. She also helped me to look at totally unknown sides / aspects of myself I had never looked at with previous therapists. Janice is very quick to reply on chats outside of therapy for issues, and very accommodating in case rescheduling is necessary. She also recommended worksheets to deal with specific topics. Thank you very much for your valuable help Janice.

I really enjoyed working with Janice. She made me feel comfortable from the beginning, encouraging me to talk freely. She was able to guide me in my reflexions so that I can identify the problems by myself, and provided me great tools to work on them. I felt really empowered week after week and quickly saw the results of my work. After a few month I feel now confident to continue the work by myself, taking with me all the great tools and techniques I learned with Janice. I highly recommend her!

I met Janice at a time where I was really struggling with dealing with everything after a breakup. She listened to everything I had to say and was there for me and helped me immensely into getting into a much more positive situation. I would recommend Janice to anyone and I am so glad to have met her. If it wasn’t for the help from Janice and BetterHelp I would still be as low as I was and am thankful for everything.

I had 4 sessions with Janice during the summer of 2022 and she helped me enormously through a very difficult patch. She has a gentle yet straightforward style where she is able to listen keenly whilst also supporting and encouraging you in your efforts alongside pushing you towards thinking about your experiences more deeply or suggesting alternative ways to look at, think about or approach situations that you are going through. Thank you Janice for your help
