Daiga has been an amazing therapist and has helped me achieve a level of mindfulness that has had a huge positive change in my life. Her way of explaining intuition and how to focus on this has helped me ensure I kept having a positive mindset and a good sense of self-worth. Her use of examples to teach this has opened my perspective on how I can truly live a long, happy and healthy life and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is or has struggled with anxiety and depression.

More about Daiga

  • 8 years' experience

My passion for helping people goes back as far as I can remember. From a young age, I read self-help books, joined events related to personal development and eventually I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a First Class degree in Humanistic Counselling.

By now, I have years of experience working with people who seek help for anxiety and depression. However, there is always a reason for anxiety or depression and with that, every other feeling and emotion. Because of that, I have been working with a vast variety of issues, difficulties and suffering that underpin each and every person's struggles.

The way I work is that I will look at you as a whole person, the one who has all the answers, knowledge and wisdom you will ever need to know to a live healthy, happy and fulfilling life. If you are struggling, suffering or hurting, it is clear that there are blocks that stop you from being able to access that wisdom and it is always found in your past experiences. Because all the answers and wisdom are within you, I don't have them. No one does. You are the one and only who can ever access them. It isn't my job to tell anyone what to do, how to do it or if to do it. My job is to help you to identify those blocks, to help you to find ways to remove them and to help you to gain access to your very own answers, knowledge and wisdom.

Together we will look at how humans function and what is important to us. We will look at the difficulties you would like to process, how those have come about and with that you'll gain your own answers on how to move forwards. From our work together you will gain a better understanding of the self, you will gain greater self acceptance, self awareness, self belief and self confidence. All that leads to a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.

I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Diaga has been an amazing support for me, she has guided me through an extremely difficult time in my life. She has helped me to learn how to focus my attention on what is important to me, and help me to change my focus if the negative things that are happening or might happen. I am so thankful for her guidance and ability to help me see things differently, she reminds me that all the answers are already within me, I just need to tune in to my intuition to hear them. I would strongly recommend Diaga to anyone who needs that extra help through a difficult time.

I have tried a total of 4 different therapists, on-and-off, over the last 10 years. After 3 weeks with Daiga, I am beginning to open up, identify my feelings and make sense of my thoughts, in ways that I simply have not been able to in the past. In my therapy sessions with previous therapists over the years, it has often felt like something was missing. The truth is, I didn't feel the passion in those therapists, that Daiga has for her work. For the first time, I'm truly excited to continue my therapy journey, with Daiga as my therapist.
